NOVELTY - The invention relates to a method for determining the current gain cut-off frequency in an RF graphene FET, meant to be used in the field of transistors. According to the invention, the method consists of a stage of FET polarization in an amplifier circuit of variable frequency that can be increased to result in a frequency FT, a stage of determining the characteristic of the drain current ID depending on the drain voltage VD, by mounting an ammeter within the circuit, between the resistance from the drain to the gate and the gate, an ammeter between the source and ground and a voltmeter between the drain and the ground.
