NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide by improved manner comprises (1) adding potassium permanganate to concentrated sulfuric acid, placing in a water bath and stirring evenly, (2) continuously stirring in the water bath, slowly adding graphite to the mixed solution, and continuing the reaction, and (3) adding water and hydrogen peroxide to the mixed solution in sequence, stirring uniformly to obtain graphene oxide after purification. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide by improved manner. ADVANTAGE - The method: controls the oxidation temperature at room temperature; realizes less sulfuric acid dosage synthetic graphene oxide; is simple; has low explosion risk; and does not need rigorous temperature control process, and suitable for mass production.
