▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A liquid foam of graphene comprises modified form of graphene oxide encapsulating gas to form liquid foam. USE - A liquid foam of graphene for production of composites, porous materials, and solid open and closed cellular foams containing reduced graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The liquid foam allows efficient handling of modified graphene oxide materials because such handling avoids gross aggregation of sheets typical of process that involve filtration steps. The graphene structure provides the interface between 2 phases, exhibits good electrical conductivity, and enhances mechanical strength of the composite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) solid foam comprising modified form of graphene oxide encapsulating a fluid to form a solid foam; (2) dispersion of gas cells in a liquid in which gas cells are encapsulated inside shells having a layered structure made of molecular sheets; and (3) manufacture of liquid foam from graphene which involves preparing aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide, adding water-miscible compound to aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide to produce mixture including a modified form of graphene oxide, and adding excess of surfactant and immiscible fluid to mixture to produce bicontinuous structures having interfaces which contain shells consisting of a modified form of graphene oxide.
