▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Method for investigation of ecotoxicology of graphene oxide adsorbent for water purification involves using Fenton's reagent, where the graphene oxide is successfully prepared using modified Hummers' process, the graphene oxide membrane is easy to make and has a high separation performance, and the water is purified by using graphene oxide as an adsorbent, to remove biological, organic, inorganic, and radioactive contaminants from water until levels are safe for human consumption. USE - The method is useful for performing investigation of ecotoxicology of graphene oxide adsorbent for purification of water, preferably wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The method is performed using graphene oxide-based water purification system which improves water treatment efficiency across a broad spectrum of pollutants, extends application to different pollutant species, increases rate of recovery from the tested system, and enhances and improves material reusability's effectiveness, and is graphene oxide based-biodegradable and environmentally-friendly system, and ensures high biosafety of graphene oxide adsorbents. The graphene can replace bulk of nanomaterials used in wastewater treatment, does not affect bacteria, cells, animals, and plants.
