▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composite nanomaterial comprises 15-65 wt.% graphene oxide, 30-60 wt.% carbon nanoparticles and 5-10 wt.% selenium nanoparticles. The carbon nanoparticles and selenium nanoparticles are grown on the surface of graphene nanosheets. The thickness of graphene nanosheets are 4-10 nm. The selenium nanoparticles have particle size of 30-120 nm. The composite nanomaterial has specific surface area of 800-1000 m2/g and pore volume of 0.3-0.4 cm3/g. USE - Composite nanomaterial is used for purifying water by absorbing heavy metal ions and organic matter (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite nanomaterial has high surface area and pore volume, and effectively absorbs heavy metal and organic matter in water. The graphene or graphite oxide surface is rich in variety of oxygen-containing functional groups such as carbonyl group, carboxyl group, and aldehyde group, and improves adsorption efficiency of material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of composite nanomaterial; and (2) use of composite nanomaterial in purification of water.
