NOVELTY - Graphene-based silicon carbon composite cathode material comprises 1-85 wt.% nano-silicon, 1-50 wt.% nanocarbon and balance graphene particles where graphene particles are composed of multiple layers of graphene sheets with thickness of 0.3-50 nm arranged in different directions with the same point as the base. A free space is provided between adjacent graphene sheets. The cathode material is ball-shaped or spheroidal-shaped. The graphene sheets are arranged to form dandelion shape. The nano-silicon and nanocarbon are sequentially deposited on the surface of the graphene particles. USE - Graphene-based silicon carbon composite cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and easy to control. The product good electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene-based silicon carbon composite cathode material comprising taking 0.5-10 mg/mL aqueous solution of graphene oxide and 5-10 mg/mL solution of ascorbic acid, spraying the graphene oxide at 150-180 degrees C to form fine spray droplets, stirring ascorbic acid solution at speed of 100-1000 revolutions/minute, spraying, cooling to room temperature, filtering, collecting the resultant solid material, washing, drying and depositing nano-silicon and nanocarbon by chemical vapor deposition at the surface of the graphene particles.
