NOVELTY - Preparation of polymer-grafted graphene involves dissolving acid chloride group-containing azo initiator in organic solvent to obtain initiator solution having concentration of 5-50 mg/ml, adding graphene, then dispersing resultant product, reacting the resultant product, centrifuging, washing, dissolving carbon-carbon double bond monomer in organic solvent, mixing resultant product with initiator-grafted graphene sample, carrying out polymerization reaction, centrifuging, solvent extracting the resultant product and freeze-drying. USE - Preparation of polymer-grafted graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides polymer-grafted graphene having high dispersibility and excellent storage stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of polymer-grafted graphene involves dissolving acid chloride group-containing azo initiator in organic solvent to obtain initiator solution having concentration of 5-50 mg/ml, adding graphene, then ultrasonically dispersing the resultant product for 30 minutes-2 hours, reacting the resultant product at room temperature for 8-12 hours, centrifuging the resultant product, washing the resultant solid with organic solvent to obtain initiator-grafted graphene sample, then dissolving carbon-carbon double bond monomer in an organic solvent to obtain monomer solution having concentration is 0.01-2 mol/L, mixing the resultant product with initiator-grafted graphene sample under argon atmosphere, providing the resultant product into a thermostatic bath, carrying out polymerization reaction at 45-65 degrees C for 30 minutes-8 hours, then centrifuging the resultant product, solvent extracting the resultant product for 8-12 hours, and freeze-drying. The mass ratio of graphene and initiator is 1-50:1.
