NOVELTY - Graphene/polydimethylsiloxane modified cotton fabric comprises (1) placing 2-5 g cotton fabric in an ultrasonic bath, after completing ultrasonic treatment, drying at 80-95 degrees C to obtain pretreated cotton fabric, (2) placing 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane and graphene oxide into a three-necked flask with a stirrer, adding 100-200 ml de-ionized water and catalyst, and passing in nitrogen, completing reaction to obtain composite dispersion of 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane and graphene oxide, (3) adding curing agent to composite dispersion, stirring to make it evenly dispersing to prepare a coating solution, (4) adding 35-50 ml n-hexane to coating solution, and ultrasonically dispersing to make it evenly mixing, (5) placing coating solution after ultrasonic treatment in spraying equipment, and spraying cotton fabric on both sides, and (6) drying spray-finished cotton fabric at 80-95 degrees C for 25-40 minutes, baking at 150-180 degrees C for 3-6 minutes, and washing with water. USE - The method is useful for graphene/polydimethylsiloxane modified cotton fabric. ADVANTAGE - The cotton fabric: has typical super-hydrophobic property and self-cleaning performance, and can float on air-water interface and absorb heat.
