NOVELTY - The gas diffusion layer comprises a graphene membrane (200) that includes graphene sheets (201) which are arranged irregularly in the graphene membrane. The thickness of the graphene sheet layer is about 0.35 to 50 nm, preferably about 0.35 to 5 nm. USE - Gas diffusion layer for proton exchange membrane fuel cell (claimed) for used in energy storage system, such as electric vehicles and portable devices. ADVANTAGE - The graphene sheets in the graphene film are irregularly arranged, and are prepared using simple operation, good controllability, and cost saving. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a preparation method for a gas diffusion layer; and (2) a proton exchange membrane fuel cell that includes a gas diffusion layer.
