NOVELTY - Preparing phenolic resin-based carbon foam involves adding 1-10 pts. wt. graphene/silica hybrid material into 50-100 pts. wt. phenolic resin, and mechanically stirring at rate of 3000-5000 revolutions per minute for 1-3 minutes. 1-2 pts. wt. silicone oil, 10-20 pts. wt. tosylate are added into resin, stirred mixture at rate of 1500-2000 revolutions per minute for 1-5 minutes, added 5-7 pts. wt. n-pentane, baked at 70-80 degrees C in vacuum oven for 30-60 minutes, to obtain graphene/silica modified phenolic resin foam. USE - Method for preparing phenolic resin-based carbon foam (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to preparing phenolic resin-based carbon foam which has improves cellular structure of phenolic resin based carbon foam, excellent mechanical property and graphene form conductive path in carbon foam, improves conductive performance of the material, and has improves electromagnetic shielding performance of material. The phenolic resin foam is immersed in acetone at 30-50 degrees C for 24-32 hours, and dried foam in vacuum oven. The dried foam is placed into resistance furnace and carbonized at high temperature in nitrogen atmosphere to obtain phenolic final product.
