NOVELTY - Preparation of dihydroxy dicyclohexylpropane involves preparing catalyst using 30-80 wt.% pseudo-boehmite, 10-40 wt.% aluminum hydroxide, 1-5 wt.% alkali metal, 1-5 wt.% phosphoric acid, 1-3 wt.% noble metal and 0.5-1.5 wt.% graphene, adding 10-100 wt.% bisphenol A into a metering pump, pressurizing, mixing with high pressure hydrogen metered by a flow control instrument, mixing, adding 10-100 wt.% dihydric alcohol and 1-100 wt.% epoxy chloropropane in a closed tube, preheating to 80 degrees C, adding 1-100 wt.% prepared catalyst and 1-100 wt.% curing agent, heating while stirring, and keeping the reaction system at 100-200 degrees C and hydrogen pressure at 3-5 MPa. USE - Preparation of dihydroxy dicyclohexylpropane. ADVANTAGE - The method produces dihydroxy dicyclohexylpropane having excellent weather resistance, corona resistance, leakage resistance, high dielectric strength, chemical resistance, UV resistance, and is manufactured economically with high yield.
