▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The device has a chemically modified graphene (CMG) sheet, battery, fuel cell, ultra-capacitor e.g. CMG based electrochemical double layer capacitor (300). A CMG sheet is arranged in at least a portion of CMG electrode (320). The chemically modified graphene sheet has a specific capacitance of at least about 100F/g or 500F/g and energy density of at least about 4 Wh/kg or 25 Wh/kg. A paper-like material includes stacked and/or overlapped chemically modified graphene platelets. USE - Electrochemical device used for hybrid power system. Uses include but are not limited to handheld power tool, cell phone, and energy recapture applications such as loading crane, forklift and hybrid electric vehicle such as bus, train, subways, industrial truck and passenger car. ADVANTAGE - The graphene and CMG based carbon material with significantly larger surface areas is obtained. The operating voltage limit and energy storage range of electrochemical device can be determined easily. The significantly enhanced energy storage density over ultra-capacitors can be provided by the use of CMG electrode. Thus the operational performance of the electrochemical device is improved and lifetime of electrochemical device is increased. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method of manufacturing electrochemical device.
