NOVELTY - Preparing graphene powder comprises carrying out microwave heat treatment of graphite to obtain a pre-expanded graphite, then placing the pre-expanded graphite in a high pressure resistant stripping reactor, and then carrying out stripping process and adding expanding agent in the stripping reactor. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene powder (claimed), which is useful for super-capacitor, sensor, and sea water desalting process. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of preparing graphene powder with reduced defect and good conductivity, in simple and eco-friendly manner without using oxidation-reduction and acid treatment methods.
