NOVELTY - Moisture-proof coating comprises 40-100 pts. wt. pigment, 30-100 pts. wt. latex and 0.1-1.6 pts. wt. graphene, the graphene sheet size is 1-15 mu m and the average thickness is 0.35-5.4 nm. USE - The moisture-proof coating is useful for paper making (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing coating, comprising providing predetermined amount of graphene, pigment and latex, dispersing the graphene slurry, Adding a uniformly dispersed graphene solution to the pigment dispersion solution to disperse to obtain a graphene pigment, adding latex to graphene pigment to be dispersed to obtain a moisture proof coating. The resulting moisture-proof coating comprises: 40-100 pts. wt. pigment, 30-100 pts. wt. latex, and 0.1-1.6 pts. wt. graphene. The sheet size of graphene is 1-15 mu m. The average thickness is 0.35-5.4 nm; (2) moisture-proof paper comprising base paper layer and coating layer, where the coating layer comprises moisture-proof coating. The moisture-proof coating comprises 40-100 pts. wt. pigment, 30-100 pts. wt. latex and 0.1-1.6 pts. wt. graphene, the graphene sheet size is 1-15 mu m and the average thickness is 0.35-5.4 nm; and (3) preparing moisture-proof paper comprising coating the moisture-proof coating on at least one side of the base paper, where the coating amount of one side is 12-20 g/m2, drying and calendering the coated paperboard.
