NOVELTY - Gel injection molding reaction sintered silicon carbide ceramic comprises 78.5-80 pts. wt. silicon carbide powder, 1.5-2 pts. wt. boron nitride, 3-4 pts. wt. petroleum coke, 2-2.5 pts. wt. isobutylene maleic anhydride copolymer, 1-1.5 pts. wt. sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, 3-3.5 pts. wt. phenolic resin, 2-2.5 pts. wt. modified dispersant, 3-4 pts. wt. ethanolamine, 1-1.2 pts. wt. sucrose fatty acid ester and 30-35 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - The ceramic is useful in but are not limited to metallurgy, power, chemical engineering, cement and other industries e.g. corrosion and abrasion resistance field. ADVANTAGE - The ceramic: has small investment, no toxicity, low cost, net size, and simple operation; realizes complex structure, and super large; forms ultra-thin products in one-time net size; and has high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, excellent thermal shock resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient and high elastic modulus.
