NOVELTY - Preparing lubricating oil additive of layered silicate-loaded graphene comprises (i) adding alkoxysilane and sodium silicate solution to deionized water, mixing and stirring, and hydrolyzing alkoxysilane in deionized water to obtain a mixed solution; (ii) adding graphene to the mixed solution prepared in the step (i), distributing uniformly in a homogenizer, then adding acid for processing, then adding diethyl dimethyl ammonium hydroxide, triethylmethylammonium hydroxide, zinc chloride, mixing and stirring until to form gel obtaining a gelled product; and (iii) aging the obtained gelatin under hydrothermal conditions to gradually form a layered silicate, where the graphene is sandwiched between the sheets of the sheet silicate by washing, performing pressure filtration, and drying, uniformly dispersing the obtained graphene-loaded silicate with molybdenum disulfide and tungsten disulfide. USE - The method is useful for preparing lubricating oil additive of layered silicate-loaded graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method: solves the problem that the graphene is easily agglomerated in the lubricating grease by pre-forming the graphene between the sheets of the layered silicate; and adopts the obtained lubricating oil additive in the basic lubricating grease, and can be dispersed by high-speed stirring and has high-load lubrication without degradation, failure, long service life, and high anti-wear extreme pressure performance under high load.
