NOVELTY - Cathode pole piece comprises a current collector whose surface is covered with a cathode active material layer. The cathode active material layer is composed of cathode active material, tin and/or bismuth and sintered carbon. The current collector comprises copper foil or aluminum foil. The cathode active material comprises silicon and/or graphite. The sintered carbon comprises a sintered product of an organic binder. The organic binder comprises polyvinylidene fluoride, polyvinyl alcohol or sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. The sintered carbon further comprises a sintered product of dopamine and/or glucose. The grinding aid comprises N-methyl pyrrolidone, ethanol aggregate, polyol, polymeric alcohol amine, triethanolamine, triisopropanolamine, ethylene glycol or diethylene glycol. The conductive agent comprises conductive carbon black, acetylene black, carbon fiber, carbon nano-tube, koqin black or graphene. USE - The cathode pole piece is useful for a battery i.e. lithium ion battery of an electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The pole piece does not contain organic binder, combines the tin and/or bismuth and cathode active material, forms a current collector and/or bismuth interface using current collector, loads sintering carbon at the interface of the current collector and/or bismuth, and improves the peeling strength of the cathode.
