NOVELTY - A biomolecule functionalized graphene/gold nanoparticles composite film consists of 1-20 layers and has thickness of 15-500 nm. The composite film comprises polyetherimide, negatively charged and positively charged bovine serum albumin functionalized graphene and gold nanoparticles. The negatively charged bovine serum albumin functionalized graphene has thickness of 2-5 nm and length and width of 100-300 nm, and the positively charged bovine serum albumin functionalized graphene has thickness of 2-5 nm. USE - Biomolecule functionalized graphene/gold nanoparticles composite film for use in electrocatalysis, sensor and substrate for Raman spectroscopic analysis. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the composite film, which involves processing substrate surface, washing with distilled water, introducing negatively charged bovine serum albumin functionalized graphene on the substrate, washing the substrate, introducing positively charged bovine serum albumin functionalized graphene, depositing gold nanoparticles on the substrate, washing with distilled water and drying.
