NOVELTY - Pleated graphene coating, prepared by coating substrate with graphene, graphene oxide and/or reduced graphene oxide, dispersing the graphene, graphene oxide and/or reduced graphene oxide in an organic solvent, spin coating, and volatilizing the organic solvent rapidly after coating, so that the graphene coating shrinks unevenly to form a pleated graphene coating, is claimed. The organic solvent includes ethanol solution, dimethylformamide, dichloromethane, dimethyl sulfoxide, and toluene. The substrate includes a metal substrate, an oxide substrate, and porous carbon. USE - Pleated graphene coating used in battery electrode and electronic field, and fuel cell mounting device for energy storage and conversion device. ADVANTAGE - The pleated graphene coating is simple and fast designed, and can be applied in large scale. The method has simple operation, no special requirement to the substrate, wide application range, low cost, short preparation time, the battery electrode, electronic component coating and biological coating field has application prospect. The smooth graphene has higher specific surface area, can enhance the conductivity, it is used for battery electrode and electronic components coating. The higher surface area also can provide more active sites for cell adhesion, the three-dimensional structure formed by folds can also be used for simulating microenvironment of cell culture.
