NOVELTY - Method for preparation of lactoferrin-modified pegylated graphene oxide loaded puerarin nanoplatform, involves completely dispersing graphene oxide in the aqueous solution by ultrasonic crushing, adding sodium hydroxide and chloroacetic acid, reacting, neutralizing the reaction solution, purifying to obtain graphene oxide with surface carboxylation, adding 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS), reacting the mixture, adding amino carboxyl polyethylene glycol to react, washing the reaction solution and dialyzing to obtain PEGylated graphene oxide, dissolving puerarin in an organic solvent to obtain puerarin solution, which is added to the aqueous solution of PEGylated graphene oxide, stirring and reacting, dialyzing, adding amino-polyethylene glycol-lactoferrin to the aqueous solution of the PEGylated graphene oxide loaded puerarin nanoplatform, stirring and reacting, and dialyzing to obtain nanoplatform. USE - The method is useful for preparation of lactoferrin-modified pegylated graphene oxide loaded puerarin nanoplatform (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method improves dispersibility and stability of graphene oxide, solubility of puerarin and bioavailability of puerarin, enhances loading rate of puerarin, is simple and cost-effective to perform and environmentally-friendly, and provides high yield. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) lactoferrin-modified PEGylated graphene oxide loaded puerarin nanoplatform, obtained by the preparation method; and (2) use of the lactoferrin-modified PEGylated graphene oxide loaded puerarin nanoplatform, in preparation of neuroprotective medicine.
