NOVELTY - Preparing reduced graphene oxide, comprises mixing graphene oxide with a hydrazide compound (I), and then stirring the mixture. USE - The method is useful for preparing reduced graphene oxide that is useful for preparing a reduced graphene oxide-polymer composite (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The reduced graphene oxide can be prepared with good dispersibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing reduced graphene oxide, comprises mixing graphene oxide with a hydrazide compound of formula (R-CO-NH-NH2) (I), and then stirring the mixture. R = 1-14C-alkyl, 6-14C-aryl, or 5-14C-cycloalkyl (all optionally substituted). INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparing a reduced graphene oxide-polymer composite, comprising preparing the reduced graphene oxide, mixing the reduced graphene oxide with heat-resistant polymer precursor, obtaining a composite material, and heat-treating the composite material; (2) a reduced graphene oxide having conductivity of 2000-5000 S/minutes; and (3) a reduced graphene oxide-polymer composite having conductivity of 100-5000 S/minutes.
