NOVELTY - Method for preparing acrylic thick plates using water bath cooling by prepolymerized pulping by adding methyl cyanoformate, methyl chloromethyl acetate, azobisisobutyronitrile, isooctyl ester and methyl methacrylate monomers, heating, adding fluorite powder, nano calcium carbonate, stearic acid, nano glass fiber, and leveling agent into the reaction kettle and stirring, degassing, injecting the cooled liquid polymethyl methacrylate into the mold, placing the fixed mold into a tank of 40 plus minus 5 degrees C for solidification, and polymerizing, heating by steam to harden the surface of the plate and maintaining it for at least 12 hours, injecting cold water to cool to 30 plus minus 2 degrees C, after the surface of the plate is hardened and demolding to obtain acrylic plate with a thickness of 30-50 mm, cutting and polishing the thin plate, using liquid polymethyl methacrylate to bond the thin plate and fixing it with a clamp, and shaping the bonded plates to obtain thick plates larger than 100 mm. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing acrylic thick plates using water bath cooling by (i) prepolymerized pulping by adding methyl cyanoformate, methyl chloromethyl acetate, diethanol dimethacrylate, azobisisobutyronitrile, isooctyl ester and methyl methacrylate monomers into the reaction kettle, and heating to maintain the temperature at 100-110 degrees C, increasing the pressure to 1 MPa and stirring for 1-2 hours, adding fluorite powder, nano calcium carbonate, nano graphene, nano silicon carbide, maleic anhydride, trimethoxysilane, stearic acid, nano glass fiber, and leveling agent into the reaction kettle at 150-160 degrees C under 3-5 MPa and stirring for at least 2 hours, (ii) degassing by pumping it into a degassing tank for vacuum degassing, (iii) injecting the cooled liquid polymethyl methacrylate into the mold, (iv) placing the fixed mold into a tank of 40 plus minus 5 degrees C for solidification, and polymerizing in a water bath for 3-4 days, after the polymerization is completed, heating at 100 degrees C by steam to harden the surface of the plate and maintaining it for at least 12 hours, (v) injecting cold water to cool to 30 plus minus 2 degrees C, after the surface of the plate is hardened and demolding to obtain acrylic plate with a thickness of 30-50 mm, (vi) cutting and polishing the thin plate, controlling the temperature at 25 plus minus 2 degrees C, using liquid polymethyl methacrylate to bond the thin plate and fixing it with a clamp, and (vii) shaping the bonded plates at 100 plus minus 5 degrees C to obtain thick plates larger than 100 mm.
