NOVELTY - The liquid sodium leak detector (10) has main portion connected to a circulation pipe (61) through which gas is circulated. An electrode unit is inserted into the main portion and includes an anode and a cathode. An insulating unit surrounds the electrode portion. A first sensing unit is connected to an end of the electrode portion. The first sensing unit detects leakage of liquid sodium through a signal of a change in electrical resistance at the end of the electrode unit. USE - Detector of liquid metal leak detection system (claimed), for detecting leak of liquid sodium out of containers, pipes, and devices in liquid metal handling facilities such as high-speed furnaces using graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The detection improves the reliability and stability by detecting the leakage of liquid metal in more than two and increases the convenience of installation and maintenance of the leak detector by miniaturizing the leak detector and usage of the detector is avoided and the economic efficiency is improved. The leaked liquid metal is easily introduced, a leak of a small amount of liquid metal is quickly detected and malfunction due to contact with a metallic foreign substance or a fixing strap is minimized.
