NOVELTY - Preparing furoic acid comprises under the condition of air and/or oxygen, adding aqueous solution of furfural and catalyst, carrying out catalytic oxidation reaction to obtain the furoic acid, where the catalyst is obtained by mixing the front carrier and the basic nitrogen-containing compound in a solvent, heating and stirring under water bath condition, performing alkali treatment, drying and baking the alkali processed front carrier in turn to obtain a carrier, and loading the active component on the carrier to obtain the catalyst, where the active component is rhodium, palladium, platinum and ruthenium, the front carrier is activated carbon, graphite, fullerene and graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for preparing furoic acid. ADVANTAGE - The method: realizes the high-efficiency conversion of furfural without the addition of basic compounds, and obtains highly selective furoic acid; is simple, mild reaction conditions, and is environmentally-friendly and pollution-free, and has good industrialization.
