NOVELTY - Device for preparing graphene by using jet cavitation process comprises a storage tank (1), a water inlet tube (2), a valve (3), a motor (4), a plunger pump (5), a pressure gauge, a high pressure tube, a cavitation generator, a water recycling and cooling device, and a reflux pipe. The outlet of storage tank is connected with the inlet end of inlet tube. The outlet end of inlet tube is connected with the water inlet of plunger pump. The valve is mounted on the water inlet tube. The plunger pump is driven by the motor. The working pressure is displayed by the pressure gauge. USE - Used as a device for preparing graphene by using jet cavitation process. ADVANTAGE - The device utilizes advanced technology; is economical and environmental friendly. The method is suitable for large-scale industrialized production of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Device for preparing graphene by using jet cavitation process comprises a storage tank (1), a water inlet tube (2), a valve (3), a motor (4), a plunger pump (5), a pressure gauge, a high pressure tube, a cavitation generator, a water recycling and cooling device, and a reflux pipe. The outlet of storage tank is connected with the inlet end of inlet tube. The outlet end of inlet tube is connected with the water inlet of plunger pump. The valve is mounted on the water inlet tube. The plunger pump is driven by the motor. The working pressure is displayed by the pressure gauge. The water outlet of plunger pump is connected with the water inlet of high-pressure tube. The water outlet of high-pressure tube is connected with water inlet of cavitation generator. The water outlet of cavitation generator is connected with the water inlet of reflux pipe. The water outlet of reflux pipe is connected with the inlet of storage tank. The water recycling and cooling device is mounted on the reflux pipe. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene by using jet cavitation process, comprising (i) stirring and mixing graphite powder with weight ratio of 0.1-10% and average granularity of 10-50 mu m, dispersant or surface modifier with weight ratio of 0.01-5%, and water with weight ratio of 85-99% to prepare the graphite aqueous solution having good dispersing stability, and placing in the storage tank, (ii) setting the working pressure of the plunger pump to 3-80 MPa, opening the valve at the position of the tube, flowing the graphite aqueous solution in the plunger pump from the storage tank, starting the motor and operating, pressurizing the graphite aqueous solution to a specified pressure, where the pressure is maintained at 3-80 MPa, (iii) flowing the pressurized graphite aqueous solution in the cavitation generator through the high-pressure tube, striping the graphite particle in the solution under the effect of cavitation force to obtain the solution containing single or multi-layer graphene, where the solution containing single or multilayer graphene is a mixed aqueous solution of single graphene, multi-layer graphene and graphite particle, (iv) flowing the solution containing single or multi-layer graphene into the reflux pipe through the water outlet of cavitation generator, where the temperature of liquid is higher at the time, then recovering the temperature of the solution containing single or multi-layer graphene to the normal temperature under the effect of the water recycling and cooling device, (v) flowing the solution containing single or multilayer graphene obtained from the step (iii) into the storage tank through the water outlet of reflux pipe, then flowing into the plunger pump and cavitation generator through the water inlet tube, repeating the step (iii) and (iv) to form a circulation of the preparing process, (vi) operating the system for 5-10 minutes after processing is completed, turning off the motor and valve, where the solution in the storage tank is treated by repeated cavitation solution, and (vii) removing the solution from the storage tank and pouring into the sedimentation tank, settling, collecting the liquid supernatant by using siphon or by overflowing manner, where the liquid supernatant is the solution containing single graphene or multi-layer graphene or the single graphene and multi-layer graphene.
