NOVELTY - Polypropylene-polycarbonate alloy comprises 30-40 pts. wt. polypropylene, 40-50 pts. wt. polycarbonate, 5-10 pts. wt. brucite fiber, 1-5 pts. wt. silicone, 1-5 pts. wt. toughening agent, 1-3 pts. wt. graphene, 1-5 pts. wt. flaky nano inorganic and 1-5 pts. wt. coupling agent. USE - Used as polypropylene-polycarbonate alloy. ADVANTAGE - The alloy has excellent tensile strength, shock resistance, impact strength, curing effect, toughness, workability, generates lattice distortion and defects, increases surface free energy, causes chemical bond cleavage and recombination. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing polypropylene-polycarbonate alloy comprising (i) adding polypropylene, polycarbonate, silicone, flaky nano inorganic and coupling agent into mixing mixer, dispersing and mixing treatment to obtain mixture, (ii) mixing brucite fiber in a solid-liquid ratio of 1:55 into slurry, adding anionic surfactant in a ratio of 1:0.01-0.04, and stirring at a speed of 1000-1200 revolution/minute for 5-10 minutes to obtain modified brucite fiber dispersion, and (iii) dispersing and mixing mixture obtained in step (i), modified brucite fiber dispersion obtained in step (ii) and graphene and toughening agent, adding into twin screw extruder, extruding and granulating to obtain polypropylene-polycarbonate alloy.
