NOVELTY - Photodetector device (900) comprises substrate (950), first antenna component (910) fabricated on the substrate, where first antenna component comprises antenna electrodes, second antenna component (930) fabricated on the substrate, where second antenna component comprises antenna electrodes, source region coupled to first antenna component and substrate, and drain region coupled to second antenna component and substrate, where antenna electrodes in the first antenna component and second antenna component are made of graphene. USE - Photodetector device for use in system (claimed) used for imaging purposes, such as environmental sensing or medical imaging, detection of concealed weapons or other objects in security screening, detection of mechanical structure defects, and medical imaging applications for purpose of medical diagnosis. ADVANTAGE - The graphene antenna has a smaller and thinner structure that enables the disclosed photodetector to be worn on human bodies without inconveniencing the users. The resonance of the disclosed photo-detector is tuned at a wide frequency range when applied with different bias voltage. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a system, which comprises multiple photodetector devices arranged in arrays to detect a metal object.
