NOVELTY - A graphene-epoxy resin neutron shielding material comprises 15-100 pts. wt. polyfunctional epoxy resin, 5-30 pts. wt. modified graphite oxide, 10-15 pts. wt. toughening additives, 10-100 pts. wt. curing agent, 50-400 pts. wt. radiation protection additive, 20-100 pts. wt. flame retardant functional additives and 5-20 pts. wt. diluent. USE - Graphene-epoxy resin neutron shielding material for shielding neutron (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-epoxy resin neutron shielding material has excellent temperature resistance of 150-220 degrees C, excellent radiation resistance, and high mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene-epoxy resin neutron shielding material, which involves (1) adding radiation protection additive and flame retardant additive to polyfunctional epoxy resin, heating at 40-70 degrees C, stirring, defoaming at 40-70 degrees C, vacuuming for 0.5-2.0 hours to obtain component (A), (2) adding toughening additive, diluent and modified graphene oxide to curing agent, heating at 40-70 degrees C, stirring, degassing under vacuum at 40-70 degrees C for 0.5-2.0 hours to obtain component (B), (3) mixing component (A) and component (B) uniformly, heating at 40-70 degrees C, stirring evenly, defoaming in a vacuum at 40-70 degrees C for 0.5-2.0 hours and discharging to obtain composite glue liquid, (4) placing the composite glue liquid in mold, preheating at 40-70 degrees C, curing, solidifying, molding and cooling to obtain graphene-epoxy resin neutron shielding material. The solidifying process is carried out by curing at 70-120 degrees C for 1-4 hours, heating at 100-160 degrees C at the rate of 1-10 degrees C/minute and hardening at 100-160 degrees C for 1-4 hours.
