NOVELTY - Producing atomic dispersion catalyst involves forming ionic liquid coating layer on the carbon support, synthesizing metal precursor on the ionic liquid coating layer. The protective coating layer is formed on the ionic liquid coating layer. The carbon support is heat-treated. The protective coating layer is formed. USE - Method for producing atomic dispersion catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to produce atomic dispersion catalyst that suppresses the flowability of the supported metal precursor and collisions between metal atoms and maximizes utilization rate of the catalyst. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a oxygen reduction reaction catalyst, which comprises atomic dispersion catalyst.
