NOVELTY - Strongly basic carbon nanotube-graphene composite ion exchange resin material, is claimed. A matrix is combined with carbon nanotubes and graphene in the form of a covalent bond. USE - Used as strongly basic carbon nanotube-graphene composite ion exchange resin material. ADVANTAGE - The resin material has improved thermal decomposition temperature and anti-swelling performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the strongly basic carbon nanotube-graphene composite ion exchange resin material, comprising (i) preparing a mixed carboxylate of carbon oxide nanotubes and graphene oxide; (ii) adding the obtained mixed carboxylate of carbon oxide nanotubes and graphene oxide into a phase transfer catalyst and a styrene derivative, washing, and filtering to obtain carbon nanotube/graphene-styrene derivative; (iii) mixing carbon nanotubes/graphene-styrene derivatives, polymerized monomers, comonomers, initiators, and polymerization aids for polymerization reaction, washing, filtering, drying, and sieving to collect spheres; (iv) subjecting the composite resin microspheres to undergo chloromethylation, amination, and transformation.
