NOVELTY - Semi-conductive shielding material comprises resin matrix, conductive carbon black, antioxidant, crosslinking agent and modified graphene, where modified graphene (I), and amount of modified graphene is 0.1-10 wt.%. USE - The semi-conductive shielding material is useful for a 220 kV alternating current cable (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: improves the conductivity of the material, smoothness of the surface and transmission safety. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Semi-conductive shielding material comprises resin matrix, conductive carbon black, antioxidant, crosslinking agent and modified graphene, where modified graphene of formula (I), and amount of modified graphene is 0.1-10 wt.%. R = 5-(dimethylamino)naphthalene-1-sulfonyl, 2,2,2-trifluoroacetyl or 3-methylbutanoyl chloride. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing semi-conductive shielding material comprising (i) preparing modified graphene includes: (ia) treating the single-walled carbon nanotubes by plasma etching to obtain a graphene sheet, (ii) adding the graphene sheet obtained in step (i) into an aqueous solution of a mixed acid and stirring under an ice bath to obtain pretreated graphene, and (iii) adding the pretreated graphene obtained in step (ii) into a solution of a compound containing an R group, and reacting to obtain modified graphene, where compound containing an R group is a copolymer consisting of N-vinylpyrrolidone and quaternized vinylimidazole, copolymers of 1,1,1-trifluoroacetone, 9-ethyl-9-borabicyclo(3,3,1)nonane and/or 4-methyl-2-pentanone, and (iia) adding each raw material except the cross-linking agent into the internal mixer, mixing for 10-60 minutes, extruding, granulating to obtain semi-finished product, (iib) adding cross-linking agent into the semi-finished product obtained in step (iia), and then stirring to obtain final product.
