▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Catalyst material comprises algae-derived carbon scaffolds, and catalyst components coupled to the algae-derived carbon scaffolds. USE - Catalyst material for enhancing hydrogen and oxygen production for use in electrochemical device for hydrogen and oxygen production (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst material reduces graphene oxide composition, and produces solar production with higher surface productivities than plants and a carbon-neutral operation by simultaneously consuming carbon dioxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) an electrochemical device for hydrogen and oxygen production, which comprises electrode comprising the catalyst material; and (2) a method for synthesizing a catalyst material for enhancing hydrogen and oxygen production, which involves: (a) filling algal cells with nickel (II) ion and iron(III) ions to form a nickel (II) ion/iron(III) ion at cell composite comprising the nickel (II) ion and iron(III) ions ions and the algal cells; (b) mixing ammonium hydroxide with the nickel (II) ion/iron(III) ion at cell composite; (c) mixing tetramethoxysilane (TMOS) with nickel (II) ion/iron(III) ion at cell composite; (d) pyrolyzing the composite at a temperature in a range of about 500-900 degreesC to form a composite, algae-derived carbonized cells (cCell) and silica; and (e) removing the silica from cCell-silica composite to obtain the catalyst material.
