▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A biodegradable fluorescent liposomal nanocomposite comprises liposome, graphene quantum dots, and targeting ligand. The graphene quantum dots are embedded in the liposome. USE - The biodegradable fluorescent liposomal nanocomposite is useful as drug delivery system and used for cancer cell imaging and therapy. ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite shows high aqueous solubility, controlled morphology and particle size, photostability, photothermal response, and emissive nature for imaging; and ensures good biocompatibility, biodegradability on therapeutic commend, targeted cancer cell imaging and near infrared (NIR) light-responsive multimodal combined triple chemophotothermal-photodynamic therapeutics efficiency. During NIR light exposure, promising cell death of more than 90% is observed as compared to chemotherapy, photothermal therapy, or photodynamic therapy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the liposomal nanocomposites by sonicating graphene oxide in acidic solution to obtain first mixture; adding mixture of sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and nitric acid (HNO3) to the first mixture under stirring to obtain second mixture; adjusting pH of second mixture to 7 by adding aqueous solution of base; cooling to precipitate salts and removing salts to obtain third mixture; dialyzing the third mixture and isolating graphene oxide quantum dots; dissolving liposome halogenated solvent(s) to obtain fourth mixture; removing the solvent and adding mixture of graphene oxide quantum dots and phosphate buffered saline to obtain fifth mixture; and sonicating the fifth mixture and purifying.
